Vintage 23" tall x 8" at the base Yoruba figure carved in the mid-1980s. Used in actual Fulani ceremonial service then decommissioned to free the spirit (note the crack along the right side of the head). Made from local hardwood. Statue is of a fierce warrior; protectorate image. From Nigeria.
